This sliding transfer bench is built to help users move safely over the edge of a bathtub. The blue padded seat and backrest provide a soft surface for sitting during long hygiene routines. It uses a rail system that allows the seat to glide smoothly from one end of the frame to the other.
The swivel mechanism on the seat allows for easy entry and exit by rotating toward the user. This design reduces the need for stepping over high tub walls, which is often a safety concern for those with limited mobility. The frame is sturdy enough to support daily use in wet bathroom environments.
Safety is prioritized with the inclusion of a seat belt and textured armrests for a secure grip. The blue color offers a high-contrast visual for users with low vision, making the seat easy to locate. This unit serves as a stable platform for both bathing and transferring in a standard bathroom layout.
